Description:
After God reveals to the righteous
Noah that a flood will extinguish all life on earth, He charges
the man to construct an ark massive enough to shelter his family,
any other true believers, and pairs of every species of living
creature.
Lacking materials, Noah takes his three sons to
Nod, a city in decline. The family tries in vain to convince their
friends and neighbors to join them, and are ridiculed and attacked
throughout the decades it takes them to fulfill God's command.
Watch Noah and his family try to care not only for
themselves while at sea, but for their vast menagerie as well.
Experience their stress at being cooped up together for more than
a year. When their trying journey is finally complete, marvel
at the wonder of God's reward for Noah's unquestioning obedience
and devotion to Him.

From the time you enter this new theatre you are presented with a feeling of expectation; one that is fulfilled. The Sight & Sound Theatre claim of “Inspiring Stories and Spectacular Shows,” is definitely not an understatement. While you have probably read or heard about “Noah The Musical,” the experience that awaits you is truly spectacular. In an attempt to give you an understanding of this performance, even as I write I know that my words will be inadequate.

FYI - Plan to get there early for two reasons. 1. The street traffic was backed up quite a bit for Saturday's 4:15 p.m. show, but parking was easy once we turned into the theatre’s parking area. We had no problem getting out of the parking lot after the show. 2. When the curtain opens the other audience members will appreciate not being disturbed. In other words, please be in your seat before the show starts. There is a notice on your ticket stating that you may be detained until intermission if you arrive late, after the curtain goes up.

Everything about this show and the venue is absolutely flawless. I took my family and we were all just awe struck. The set designs and the acting were nothing less than perfect. This show has everything, singing, but not too much, dancing, but not over the top, it has humor but not irreverent, and it reflect the time and place that these events occurred. It was surreal to remember that this did happen, not just a blurb or a fable we hear in Sunday school. I think its important to re-tell these stories with the care and respect that this was presented. I applaud the efforts and talents from the cast. I know this show has been running all season (the summer season) and the actors did not seem tired but had such a passion and joy in this, as if it was the first night! I just cannot sing enough praise for this production. Thank you for doing this show! I hope it remains a staple in Branson for years to come!

The show was amazing!! The set design was beyond belief and the use of live animals was great. Particularly when they were boarding the ark! All actors were well prepared and conveyed the emotions and sentiments of their characters honestly and with gusto. The dancing and singing were remarkable although a live orchestra would have been better than the canned music. The seating was comfortable and arrangements were available for small children so that all could have a good view of the stage. There was a lot of comedy mixed in with the telling of the story, but it was appropriate to the scene and not overdone. The house staff was accomidating and friendly.
I feel that anyone, regardless of age, would enjoy the show. The telling of a familiar story was made fresh. All in all, I felt the value of the show was well worth the ticket price. I would be willing to watch it again and again.
