Description

Get ready for an evening of high entertainment! “Seven Amazing Decades of Music and One Unbelievable Dinner” is the best way to describe the Magnificent Seven Variety Show, a blockbuster wave of entertainment starring the powerhouse vocals of Tamra Holden and Joe Tinoco, who take you through hit after hit of the greatest music ever recorded.

The Magnificent Seven Variety Show is a fast-paced, two-hour musical adventure that boasts 16 multitalented entertainers and musicians, 300 costume changes, and 75 different musical productions including swing, country, Rock & Roll, 1960’s crooners, big band classics, the disco era, MTV favorites, and fabulous contemporary hits. From Duke Ellington to Elton John, they are all here; Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, the Rat Pack, the Bee Gees, Patsy Cline, Carrie Underwood, Diamond Rio, Doris Day, and many, many more. And that is just the 1st Half! We don't stop there....we keep the fun coming with hand clapping Gospel music, Broadway's musical favorites, some of the greatest Groups and Duos of all time, and always a heartfelt Tribute to our Veterans and current Armed Forces. Fast, fresh, and completely fun, it spans all music for all ages! Show time is 7pm Monday through Saturday year round.

Our second top-notch production is our nightly dinner served from 5pm to 6:30pm. Magnificent Seven boasts an impressive four course mealserved by an array of musical talent. They are all here this summer; June Carter, Janis Joplin, Marilyn Monroe, Karen Carpenter, Paula Abdul (hopefully on a sane day), and even Madonna, sweeping in with a flourish, a smile, and an enormous sense of fun to serve you one of the finest meals in town. New for this year, dinner consists of homemade Bavarian bread, salad, Prime Rib, Grilled Chicken Breast, mashed red skinned potatoes, steamed vegetables, champagne cake, iced tea and coffee. At just $10 it is one of the most delicious dinner values in town! Children 11 and under are FREE to the show, and they can enjoy chicken tenders and French fries for just $6.00. The dessert parade, featuring Champagne Cake drizzled in caramel and chocolate, is a show stopper that delights old and young alike! Come out and celebrate with Magnificent Seven tonight!

Magnificent Variety Show

April 11, 2009

Energy, action and beautiful costumes all define the Magnificent Variety Show. In its eighth year, the show, featuring Joe and Tamra Tinoco, entertains from a vibrant opening routine to a beautiful patriotic finale.

The show opens with a 1940s video and classics like Chattanooga Choo-Choo and I’ve Got Rhythm. Then it’s on to the ‘50s and hit after hit. The youngest Tinoco, four-year-old Talya, enchants with You Are My Sunshine. The casts offers an array of songs from Que Sera, Sera and Tennessee Waltz to Little Darlin’ and Great Balls of Fire. Joe does a rousing rendition of Johnny Be Good.

The ‘60s brings us more hits from Going to the Chapel to Hard Days Night and R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Joe and Tamra capture the beauty of dance in Dance to the Music. The entertainment goes on through the remaining decades to bring us to today. Their arrangement of Thriller, choreography, costumes and Tamra’s voice, are a delight.

The second half is strong as the cast takes the stage with musicals ranging from Phantom of the Opera to Bye Bye Birdie to Funny Girl. Joyous praise fills their gospel segment.

The salute to the veterans starts with an impressive video of presidential quotes from Franklin Roosevelt to George W Bush. The show closes with God Bless America and God Bless the USA.

Over 30 costume changes and high-energy routines keep the audience clapping and singing along.

The show moved this year from the White House Theater to its new location at The Osmond Theater on 76 Blvd. If you saw the show at the old location, you’ll feel the difference immediately. The talent and energy are the same, but the ambiance has changed. The White House Theater seated more people and boasted a large stage. The Osmond Theater is smaller and the stage is more intimate. The audience is closer to the action and to the entertainers. The cast does a great job of playing to the audience – getting up close and personal.

Several of the band members and entertainers are familiar from other Branson shows. In addition to the Tinoco family, the cast includes Stephani Haygood, Rachel Martin, Tami Griffith, Elisha Conner, Dusty Woolridge, Evan Bosworth, Ryan Walton and Larry Foster. All are talented singers and dancers. Band members are Doug Gifford on the drums, Geoff Clark on guitar, Brandon Hanson on the bass, JT Lyman on keyboard and Ricki Homes on piano.

It’s a must-see show. You’ll not only be well entertained but you’ll have the opportunity to get to know the cast at intermission and after the show. They’re all waiting to meet you.

Joe and Tamra Tinoco are so talented and they have a wonderful variety show. They have wonderful voices and they do a beautiful dance on the show. They sing music from the 40's to the new songs of today. Their four year old daughter Talya is in the show too and she is so talented, she sings and dances too. Actually everyone in the show is extremely talented. They have some of Branson's best singers and dancers. They have so many costume changes and it is a fast moving show. We are going back to see their Christmas show in December. They honor our veterans during every show and their spiritual music is wonderful.

We have followed Joe Tinoco since he first came to Branson, He is a a wonderful person along with being a fabulous singer/entertainer. Now he has a whole cast and a whole family that is right there entertaining one if Branson's finest shows. We have been coming to Branson now for many years and never miss going to Joe's show. The show is one of the most colorful fast paced in town. I Don't know how they get those costumes changed so fast. Now they have a newcomer added to the show, the little one on stage. She is four I believe and is every bit as good as the rest. She will warm the hearts of everyone with her Jesus Loves Me and You Are My Sunshine. We have watched her grow up on stage. She will be a Branson star soon. Yes they have Broadway to Country to Jazz and Gospel, pop and rock, even a Thriller Production that will have you on the edge of your seat! They do a wonderful tribute to Veterans. Tamra Tinoco has a fabulous vocal range and must keep all of Branson awake when she stars singing. Yes Don't Miss This Spectacular show.

This is our favorite show in Branson. Joe and Tamra are warm, friendly, delightful people who put on a terrific evening of entertainment. We attend as often as possible. This last trip we had only one night in Branson and that is where we spent our evening.
