Dalena Ditto & Patty Davidson
Oak Ridge Boys Theatre

I have been to 90 Countries/Independent Territories an all 50 states.  I have been to NY City over 70 times and have seen at least 140 Broadway/Off Broadway shows.  The Buddy Holley Story and Cat On a Hot Tin Roof shows have been 2 of my favorites.  Have also seen many shows while at Las Vegas at least 10 times, Ike and Tina Turner with Johnny Mathis in June 1971 and Reno 2 times.  Have also been to Disneyland, Disney World and Universal Studios many times.  Last times in 2007 and 2008.  Took in all the entertainment I could.  I saw Terry Fador in Las Vegas in May 2009 and Elvis in Springfield, MO in Oct 1956.  Got to meet and talk to Elvis after the show.  Have been kissed by Lola Falana and had conversations with boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard, Jay Leno and Governor George Wallace just to name a few.  However, one of the most enjoyable events in my life was being at the Dalena Ditto show on 15 October, 2009 where she was outstanding while singing, dancing, telling interesting stories, some cute jokes and changing cloths every few minutes.  The last resembling the American Flag when she sang numerous patriotic songs and recognized the military in the audience.  Another great part of her show was the ventriloquist Patty Davidson.  I had never seen her before and she was absolutely great with her 2 puppets Dan and Lucy. Dan and Lucy had a very heated conversation and then she did the Abbott - Costello version of Who is on First and What is on Second and I Don't know on third and Yesterday and Tomorrow in other positions.  She was explaining this to Dan and Lucy.  Absolutely amazing.  On the second half of the show I had the pleasure of being selected to have a short romantic fling with Lucy on stage.  We were exchanging comments and compliments and Lucy gave me a good kiss at the end of our conversation.

Patty is right up there with Terry Fador and when I googled her I found out that she has been to Las Vegas, Reno, all over the country and with the USO in Europe and was 2d runner-up in the Miss Kansas contest and won the talent part.  This was a great show and is moving to a new location next year, so if you are in Branson in the near future or next year be sure to locate them and take in the show.  You may even see me there.

The show was really a great show.  Before the show, she had a continental breakfast including coffee or juice and a donut. She was personable and friendly. She came out during intermission and posed for pictures with us. The show was fairly priced. Her show included a fantastic band and she included a tribute to the veterans. She had beautiful array of costumes for different skits.  Her show had a comedian that was very funny.  She also had a 4-piece bluegrass band.  Overall Dalena's show was an excellent show. The show was so good that we bought CD's and DVD's of her show to take home and enjoy at a later date.
